June 25 2019: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to Acquire Canadair Regional Jet Program from Bombardier Inc.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) (TOKYO:7011) and Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B) announced today they have entered into a definitive agreement, whereby MHI will acquire Bombardier's regional jet program for a cash consideration of $550 million USD, payable to Bombardier upon closing, and the assumption by MHI of liabilities amounting to approximately $200 million USD. Under the agreement, Bombardier's net beneficial interest in the Regional Aircraft Securitization Program (RASPRO), which is valued at approximately $180 million USD, will be transferred to MHI.
Pursuant to the agreement, MHI will acquire the maintenance, support, refurbishment, marketing, and sales activities for the CRJ Series aircraft, including the related services and support network located in Montreal, Quebec, and Toronto, Ontario, and its service centers located in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and Tucson, Arizona, as well as the type certificates.
This acquisition is complementary to MHI's existing commercial aircraft business, in particular the development, production, sales and support of the Mitsubishi SpaceJet commercial aircraft family. The maintenance and engineering capabilities of the CRJ program will further enhance critical customer support functions, a strategic business area for MHI in the pursuit of future growth.

Bombardier Transportation, Orascom Construction PLC (NASDAQ Dubai: OC; EGX: ORAS) and Arab Contractors have signed an agreement today with National Authority for Tunnels in Cairo to design and build two new monorail lines in Egypt. On completion of the construction phase, the consortium will be responsible for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of both lines for 30 years. The total value of the design, build and O&M contract exceeds $4.5 billion US (4.1 billion euro). Bombardier Transportation's share is $2.85 billion US (2.6 billion euro). Orascom Construction's share of the overall contract is close to $900 million US. The agreement is subject to final signatures of supplementary documents.

MONTREAL, Aug. 01, 2019 -- Bombardier (TSX: BBD.B) today reported its second quarter 2019 results and provided updated guidance to reflect both the consolidation of the Company's aerospace assets into a single reporting segment, Bombardier Aviation, and the additional investments and costs needed to complete late-stage, legacy projects and the transformation at Transportation by the end of 2020.
Organic revenue growth in the second quarter was strong at 9% year-over-year, driven mainly by increased aircraft deliveries, solid aftermarket performance fueled by past investments to expand Business Aircraft's service network and capabilities, as well as progress across the rail portfolio. PITTSBURG, Calif., June 14, 2019 -- Mobility solution provider Bombardier Transportation announced today that it is opening a rail car assembly site in Pittsburg, California. Elliot G. (Lee) Sander, President, Americas Division, Bombardier Transportation was joined by federal, state and local California officials and San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) General Manager Grace Crunican at the site for the official announcement.
The first rail equipment off the Pittsburg assembly line will be the "Fleet of the Future" rail cars from Bombardier's 775-car contract with BART. This work, which is currently taking place at the Bombardier site in upstate New York, will be transferred to its new "sister site" in California over the coming months. The move will serve several purposes including retaining and creating local jobs in Pittsburg and freeing up space at the New York site for new and upcoming East Coast orders.

June 03 2019: Bombardier Concludes Sale of the Q Series Aircraft Program to Longview
MONTREAL, June 03, 2019 -- Bombardier (TSX: BBD.B) confirmed today the closing of the previously announced sale of the Q Series aircraft program assets to De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (formerly Longview Aircraft Company of Canada Limited), an affiliate of Longview Aviation Capital Corp., for gross proceeds of approximately $300 million. Net proceeds are expected to be approximately $250 million after the assumption of certain liabilities, fees, and closing adjustments.
Longview will carry on the production of Q400 aircraft at the Downsview Facility in Toronto, and will continue performing aftermarket services for Q Series aircraft. TORONTO, April 25, 2019 -- In parallel to the opening of Centennial College Downsview Campus Centre for Aerospace and Aviation, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced today the donation of a CRJ200 aircraft to the Centennial College Aviation Program at its new campus based in Downsview, to be used in the education and training of the future generation of aerospace professionals.
The CRJ200 is the first one of its kind to grace the Centennial College's Downsview facility hangar, it is also the biggest plane as well as the first ever commercial aircraft to be received at the site. April 23 2019: Bombardier Commercial Aircraft Enhances Customer Support in Africa and the Middle East with Relocation of its Q Series Aircraft Regional Support Team
TORONTO, April 23, 2019 -- Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced today that it will relocate its Q Series aircraft regional support team from Lanseria International Airport to Airways Park, close to O.R. Tambo International Airport. This move will co-locate the regional support team for the Q Series aircraft with Bombardier's longstanding customer, South African Express Airways. The CRJ Series Aircraft Program will maintain support to the region from its current location in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The regional support teams serve fleets of approximately 170 Dash 8/Q Series turboprops and about 70 CRJ Series regional jets in Africa and the Middle East. The relocation of the team supporting the fleet of Q Series aircraft will facilitate faster response times by team members when they need to travel to support customers and operators throughout the region.
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has recorded firm orders for more than 1,300 Dash 8/Q Series and 1,900 CRJ Series aircraft, and the worldwide fleet is supported by teams in Africa and the Middle East, along with teams based in Canada (headquarters), Australia, Germany, India and Japan.

April 16 2019: Bombardier Celebrates Delivery of First CRJ900 Aircraft to Uganda Airlines
MONTREAL, April 16, 2019 -- Bombardier Commercial Aircraft today celebrated the delivery of the first two of four CRJ900 aircraft ordered by Uganda National Airlines Company in July 2018. The new airline has selected Bombardier and the CRJ900 regional jets fitted with the ATMOSPHERE cabin for its upcoming debut, making it the first operator in Africa with this enhanced cabin experience.
The CRJ900 delivery ceremony held today at Bombardier's Mirabel, Quebec facility, was attended by executives of both Uganda Airlines and Bombardier Commercial Aircraft as well as several shop floor employees who build the CRJ900 aircraft.

S)) (the "Notes"), expired at 11:59 p.m., New York City time, on April 10, 2019 (such date and time, the "Expiration Date"). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in the Offer to Purchase dated February 28, 2019 (as amended on March 14, 2019 and as further amended on March 28, 2019) with respect to the Tender Offer.
The aggregate principal amount of Notes validly tendered and not validly withdrawn after the Original 8.750% Notes Expiration Date and at or prior to the Expiration Date amounts to US$313,000 (the "Additional Tendered Notes"), which, together with the US$382,148,000 aggregate principal amount of Notes that was previously tendered under the Tender Offer and purchased by Bombardier on March 29, 2019, represents, in the aggregate, approximately 27.32% of the aggregate principal amount of the Notes outstanding prior to the Tender Offer. April 11 2019: Bombardier Celebrates Delivery of Q400 Aircraft to Qazaq Air
TORONTO, April 11, 2019 -- Bombardier Commercial Aircraft today celebrated the delivery of the first of two Q400 aircraft ordered by Qazaq Air JSC of Kazakhstan ("Qazaq Air") in 2017. The order followed Qazaq Air's successful launch of domestic service in Kazakhstan in July 2015, using three leased Q400 aircraft.
Qazaq Air's Acting Chief Executive Officer, Adel Dauletbek and the airline's Head of Public Relations, Sergey Khetsuriani, joined the airline's flight and acceptance crew during a special delivery ceremony at Bombardier's Toronto site where the Q400 aircraft is manufactured. H.E. Akylbek Kamaldinov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada was in attendance as well as Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's team which included Ross Mitchell, Vice President, Commercial Operations and Mark Gilbert, Director, Sales.

April 05 2019: Wideroe Signs Up Another Four Dash 8-100 Aircraft for Bombardier's Extended Service Program
TORONTO, April 05, 2019 -- Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced today that Wideroe's Flyveselskap AS of Norway has signed an agreement to apply the Extended Service Program (ESP) to another four Dash 8-100 aircraft operated by the Norwegian airline.

April 03 2019: Bombardier signs contract to upgrade trains for the Queensland New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) project in Australia
BERLIN, April 03, 2019 -- Mobility technology leader Bombardier Transportation announced today an order from the Queensland Government to deliver modifications to the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) trains currently being introduced to the South-East Queensland rail network. The order was signed on March 29th. The total value of the contract is approximately $361 million AUD ($255 million US, 228 million euro) which includes design and delivery, as well as ongoing maintenance, over the remaining term of the public-private partnership.
"Bombardier is proud to partner with Queensland Government to deliver the new generation trains to the passenger rail network. This order is an important request from our customer, and we will continue to work closely with them to deliver the NGR project in line with the enhanced specifications set out by the Queensland Government," said Paul Brown, Bombardier Transportation's Project Director for the Queensland New Generation Rollingstock project.
Bombardier is leading the Qtectic consortium contracted to deliver the NGR project and will undertake the work to modify the trains in line with the government's revised design specifications with industry partner Downer EDI. The agreement between Bombardier and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) will see the previously approved toilet modules upgraded for improved disability access. The changes will also include an additional module added to each six-car train to provide improved access for passengers with limited mobility.

Based on the list price of the Q400 aircraft, the firm order is valued at approximately US$ 202 million.

March 14 2019: Bombardier Concludes Sale of its Business Aircraft Training Unit to CAE
MONTREAL, March 14, 2019 -- Bombardier today confirmed the conclusion of the previously announced sale of its flight and technical training activities to CAE, for an enterprise value of $645 million. Net proceeds are expected to be approximately $500 million after the assumption of certain liabilities, fees, and closing adjustments.
