He received his education at the University of North Dakota where he has a degree in business administration with advanced studies in accounting. For the past 13 years, he has been in private practice as President of CFOColorado. Under his successful leadership, CFOColorado has mentored hundreds of businesses owners with their accounting and financial needs. Mr. Haugen is an industry leader with 40 years of experience in a variety of finance, accounting and corporate management positions. He has been the Chief Financial Officer for several oil & gas exploration companies. His depth of financial expertise and experience adds significant value to AXP Energy as it grows into a significant oil and gas producer in the United States. Russell D. Hamilton Vice President Mr. Hamilton (R.D.) joined Magnum Hunter Production, Inc. in September 2005 and began his career with the company as a Field Geologist responsible for both drilling and completion operations. For the past 15 years, Mr. Hamilton has contributed to the organization in multiple roles, (Geologist, Drilling and Completions Manager, Senior Production Geologist and General Manager) and most recently he was promoted to Vice President. Mr. Hamilton holds a Bachelors degree in Geology from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), as well as holding a Professional Geologist license in the state of Tennessee. Mr. Hamilton's management philosophy is to lead by example, in a safe and professional manner while maintaining respect and a healthy relationship with employees that work with you. MiddletonNon-Executive Director Mr. Stuart Middleton has joined the Fremont Petroleum Corporation board of directors as a non-executive director based in Sydney. Stuart has recently returned to Australia from a 10 year assignment in China where he lived and was the Group Executive for TDS, Banpu Plc, Asian Energy Company with assignments in China, Mongolia, Indonesia, Australia and Thailand living in the Henan and Shanxi provinces of the Peoples' Republic of China. Mr. Middleton has also worked in the USA, Indonesia and Columbia. During his time in China he was highly involved with oil and gas, in both conventional and unconventional drilling for CBM and oil/gas; he advised both government and a major Asian Energy group relating to Asian American Gas Company, extensive JV vertical and multi-lateral directional wells as well as technology transfer from oil/gas to underground degas directional drilling and degas to mitigate dangerous outburst challenges. Australian by background, Stuart has a Bachelor's degree in engineering and a Master's Commerce degree with double majors in Finance and Technology Management from The University of Sydney. He is a chartered professional engineer. Stuart was the general manager of the Baal Bone operation in Lithgow, Australia and served on the Oakbridge board in Sydney and the Queensland North Goonyella Pty. Ltd board in Mackay. Mr. Middleton also has a strong background in strategic planning and financial strategy. In addition he has been engaged as a "Specialist Expert" for major companies and has prepared, or had input into, many Due Diligence and Valuation reports. A particular strength being acutely tuned to operations, technical and developing the underlying fundamental value of resources with 37 years of hands-on planning, operating / improvement and management experience. Mr. Middleton has diversified experience in contractor mining in minerals and has been involved in successful negotiations for major international mining contracts in Indonesia and Colombia. Simon Johnson Non-Executive Director Simon W. Johnson is an energy executive and entrepreneur. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics & Finance) from Curtin University and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Johnson has worked internationally in Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and North America over the past 25 years for a variety of NYSE listed companies serving in a variety of commercially focused roles and as a CEO. Over the course of his career he has developed a deep network across industry and international capital markets. Most recently he co-founded a boutique consulting firm which is playing an important role in the equitization events in the oil service company space providing advice to senior management teams, debt holders and shareholder. Mr. Johnson has a demonstrated strength in strategy development and promulgation and in executing complex and innovative deals. Mr. Johnson has many years of exposure to Board of Director engagements and associated corporate governance issues. Sam Jarvis Non-Executive Director Mr. Jarvis graduated with Honours in Engineering in 1995 and also holds a degree in Economics with a Finance Major. He was educated in South Australia. For the past 15 years, he has held senior roles with leading global oil & gas drilling companies, and he has extensive experience in commercial management and development drilling. |
